A Banana Ripening Room (or Chamber) is a modern cold chain facility specifically designed for the scientific ripening of bananas. It precisely controls temperature (16-19°C), humidity (above 90%), ethylene concentration (200-500ppm), and forced ventilation to uniformly and naturally turn green bananas into golden yellow ripe ones in just 4-7 days.
Unlike traditional natural ripening or simple methods, banana ripening rooms employ professional ethylene generators, bidirectional ventilation systems, and high-standard insulation to ensure a safe, uniform, and controllable process—avoiding issues like spotting, over-ripening, or uneven maturity.
